J.A.Henry Rod & Reel Co., LLC, Lifetime Warranty for Fly Rods

Coverage:

J.A. Henry Rod & Reel Co., LLC offers a lifetime guarantee on all carbon fiber fly rods purchased directly from the Company or its authorized dealers. This guarantee covers defects in materials, workmanship and accidental breakage for the entire lifetime of the original owner. The subject to the conditions of this Lifetime Warranty are outlined herein.

*J.A.Henry Bamboo Rods are not covered under warranty.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Scope of Coverage:
    • This lifetime guarantee covers the repair or replacement of any fly rod that is damaged for any reason.  The guarantee is applicable only to the original owner and is non-transferable.
  • Exclusions:
    • The Lifetime Warranty only covers fly rods that can be returned to the company, J.A.Henry Rod & Reel Co., LLC, in its entirety, this includes all sections of the fly rod and all broken and malfunctioning pieces.
    • The Lifetime Warranty is null and void if the malfunctioning fly rod is returned without all its original pieces and broken or malfunctioning pieces.
    • J.A.Henry Bamboo Rods are not covered under warranty
  • Claim Procedure:
    • To make a claim under this lifetime guarantee, the original owner must contact the Company via www.jahenryusa.com in one of two ways:
      • 1) Use the on-line portal and/or contact via email
      • 2) Print the Warranty Form and send in along with the broken fly rod
  • Resolution:
    • If the defect is confirmed to be covered under this guarantee, the Company will, at its discretion, repair or replace the fly rod with an equivalent model.
    • In the event that the exact model is no longer available, the Company will provide a comparable replacement.
  • Costs:
    • The cost to initiate a claim for the Lifetime Warranty is $75.
    • The original owner is responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning the fly rod to J.A.Henry Rod & Reel Co., LLC or an authorized dealer.
    • J.A.Henry Rod & Reel Co, LLC., will cover shipping costs to return the repaired or replacement fly rod to the original owner.

Limitation of Liability:

The Company’s liability under this lifetime guarantee is limited to the repair and/or replacement of the defective or broken fly rod. In no event shall J.A.Henry Rod & Reel Co., LLC be liable for any lost pieces of a fly rod.

Business Continuity Clause:

  • Guarantee Duration:
    • This lifetime guarantee is valid as long as J.A.Henry Rod & Reel Co, LLC. is in business and operating.
  • Company Discontinuation:
    • In the event that J.A.Henry Rod & Reel Co., LLC  ceases its operations or goes out of business, this lifetime guarantee becomes null and void.
  • Alternative Resolution:
    • If J.A.Henry Rod & Reel Co.,LLC discontinues its operations, the original owner may contact the Company within a reasonable period to discuss alternative resolutions, such as providing compensation or a suitable replacement from a comparable manufacturer.
